Ride the Surfliner! The Amtrak Surfliner stops at Carpinteria Station, directly across the street from Island Brewing Company. (Departs Goleta 9:13am -> Departs Santa Barbara 9:27am -> Arrives Carp 9:42am)
Bring the kids early:
- Tomol Playground is just across the train tracks and is super fun!
- Carpinteria State Beach is steps away.
- IBC has a designated, indoor children's corner, equipped with toys and a chalkboard wall.
Plan for lunch out in Carp after storytime, or BYO grub to IBC.
Go surfing.
Write a children's story.
Retire.
Move to Mexico.

Island Brewing Company is a family-run, award-winning microbrewery in Carpinteria, California serving beer enthusiasts, bars, and restaurants along the beautiful Santa Barbara coast.
